1. Use of Assets

All 3D models, textures, and digital content provided by Polygone are released under a limited, non-exclusive license. You may use these assets for:

A. Fan / IP-Inspired Models

·         These are fan-made reinterpretations created for artistic, educational, and community purposes.

·         Licensed for personal projects, educational use, and fan content.

·         They are not official products and are not to be used as a replacement for or competition with the original IP.

·         Redistribution, resale, or reupload of the raw model files (as-is or modified) is strictly prohibited.

·         Credit is required in all public-facing use. Please clearly attribute Polygone AND the original IP holder

B. Original / Generic Polygone Models

  • Licensed for use in both personal and commercial projects (games, films, creative works, etc.).
  • Redistribution, resale, or reupload of the raw model files (as-is or modified) is strictly prohibited.
  • Credit to Polygone is required in public-facing use.

2. Intellectual Property & Fan Content

Polygone sometimes features fan-inspired, transformative works reimagining popular franchises. These assets are:

  • Unofficial fan creations made out of respect, admiration, and appreciation.
  • Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or licensed by any rights holder.
  • Offered to the community in the spirit of goodwill, sharing, and learning.
  • These fan works are intended to be transformative and educational, created to explore 3D modeling techniques and to inspire creativity within the community.
  • These assets are not offered as substitutes for, or competitors to, any official products.
  • Polygone’s goal is to celebrate beloved franchises while giving back to the creative community by sharing resources, not to infringe upon or exploit existing IP.

Polygone also creates original and generic models, which are entirely our own intellectual property. These original works may be used more flexibly, including in professional and commercial projects (see Section 1).

All trademarks and copyrights remain the property of their respective owners.

To Rights Holders: Polygone respects your intellectual property. If you would like any content modified or removed, please contact us at [your email]. We will respond promptly, respectfully, and in good faith.

3. Liability Disclaimer

All files are provided “as-is.” Polygone makes no warranties or guarantees regarding compatibility, functionality, or performance in any software, pipeline, or hardware.

Users are solely responsible for ensuring that assets meet their technical requirements before use.

Polygone is not liable for any damages, losses, data corruption, or issues arising from the use or misuse of downloaded assets.

4. Paid Content & Licensing

When purchasing from Polygone, you are acquiring a limited, non-exclusive license to use the assets. You are not purchasing ownership of any characters, likenesses, or intellectual property.

A. Fan / IP-Inspired Paid Models

  • Licensed only for personal, educational, and fan projects.

·         These are fan-made reinterpretations created for artistic, educational, and community purposes.

  • These assets are unofficial, fan-made reinterpretations created to inspire creativity, share knowledge, and celebrate beloved franchises.
  • They are not licensed for commercial use and are not substitutes for official products.

·         They are not official products and are not to be used as a replacement for or competition with the original IP.

  • All additional disclaimers in Section 1 & 2 apply.

B. Original / Generic Polygone Paid Models

  • Licensed for use in both personal and commercial projects
  • Redistribution, resale, or relicensing of files (as-is or modified) is strictly prohibited.
  • Credit to Polygone is required in all public-facing use.

By purchasing, you acknowledge that you are supporting an independent, community-driven project. You are receiving usage rights under this license, not ownership of the assets or any related IP.

5. Changes to the Site & Services

Polygone reserves the right to update, modify, or remove content (including models, site structure, or download access) at any time without prior notice. This ensures we can respond to technical, legal, community etc needs as they arise.

6. Respect for Creators

Polygone celebrates and respects the work of original creators and rights holders. Our fan-inspired works exist purely out of admiration and are intended to honor the franchises that shaped us.

We encourage fans to support official releases, products, and creators wherever possible. Polygone is not, and will never be, a substitute for the incredible work of the original studios.

Polygone’s mission is to:

  • Celebrate beloved franchises through transformative, educational 3D art.
  • Inspire and teach new artists by sharing insights into the creative process.
  • Give back to the community by offering resources that encourage creativity, not competition.

We believe in creating with good faith, transparency, and deep respect for intellectual property holders. If at any point a rights holder has concerns, we will act promptly and cooperatively to address them.
